Function as an internal consulting resource on network security issues specifically firewall technologies (Fortinet). Day to day responsibilities to include standard change control and troubleshooting issues. Liaison with local region network engineering and technical support groups to assist in the reviewing, design and deployment of new services, review existing services and migration of services/systems. Performs recurring maintenance activities such as device upgrades and patches with primary focus firewalls. Ensuring production systems are secure, up to date and vulnerabilities managed in a timely and effective manner.

Work as a shift lead in network operation centre of ISP Timico. Maintain network connectivity and resolve connectivity issues within Service level Agreement (24/7 support). Deal with customer request to change routers, switches and firewalls configuration on WAN and LAN networks. Monitor and maintain Timico core network, Setup and install network infrastructures in Timico data centre. Apply out of hours network changes on Timico& its customers networks. Ensure stable and reliable ISP network services such as access products, service networks and core network). Provide support for customers to troubleshoot their equipment in the data centre. Provide LAN&WAN network solution and design for Timico’s customers. Response and act against server&network alerts and events such as DDos attack. Working with Timicos suppliers such as BT, Virgin and TalkTalk to resolve connectivity and network issues and escalate when required

Working at Boots head office in operation centre and provide remote and desk side support for Boots stores throughout UK, diagnosing and resolving IT issues. Respond to service calls and resolve and escalate incidents to ensure Service level Agreement targets are achieved.Maintains and diagnose Boots and NHS Windows Servers and make sure that the services are up and running. Setup and install terminals such as routers, switches and servers.

Work with a team to upgrade all Windows XP machines to Windows 7. Also providing remote and desk side support to internal users diagnosing and resolving IT issues for university's staff in busy environment.
