Ola-Adeyemo Adetomiwa is a agronomist and a featured poet and writer. He is known for his fierce advocacy for human development, thus, he is the Founder of "Raising Giants Initiative", an initiative aimed at brooding young children, while instilling in them good virtues that will be helpful to the society.Adetomiwa partners with a lot of organization that promotes community development and leadership, he’s co-anchored and successfully executed various projects on PREJUDICE ALLEVIATION ranging from gender equality, racial discrimination and religious understanding, he’s a keen advocate for human advancement and empowerment.Adetomiwa is also a fierce lover of agriculture especially plant genetics, he currently works at an agriculture based NGO ICRISAT that hopes to alleviate poverty and increase food security by investing in the minds and hands of local farmers in the northern region of Nigeria.An alumnus of Junior Chambers International Nigeria,(JCIN) FUTA, he studied Crop, Soil and Pest management at the Federal University of Technology, Akure where he graduated with Second Class Hons, his project work titled “The study of evolutionary trend of cultivated Oryza species using nucleotide polymorphism” where he characterized, sequenced and analyzed 8 different varieties of rice to study their genetic closeness helped him to understand the concept of Genetics which he’s currently pursuing and working on.Adetomiwa has attended executive leadership and agricultural training at YALI Network, YPARD, COURSERA, USAID-FAO, IFP Schools and Edx with certificates of leadership to his merit.
