    Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are small vesicles (30 to 1000 nm) released from different cell types, upon activation or apoptosis, and present in most body fluids (Blood, Urine….). They are recognized to play important role in various biological processes and are also recognized as potential biomarkers of various health disorders. The objective of the project was to develop a NanoBioanalytical platforme by combining surface plasmon resonance (SPR) technique with Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) for on-chip detection, quantification and characterization of EVs in complex media. The platform allowed multiplexed and label-free detection, phenotyping, sizing and counting of EVs in their crude sample. This platform offers a promising novel method for clinical and medical studies to characterize EVs in different biological samples and to understand their implication in various diseases.
