Responsible for implementation and management of software; writing and editing reports for Ellucian Banner; coordinating across all departments to prepare for incoming students, including planning new student arrival day; producing letters, mailings and mailing lists; assisting incoming international students with the student visa process. Managed a diverse population of recruits and applicants via phone and email, as well as travel during spring and fall recruitment seasons. Provided close communication and support to applicants and their families throughout the admission and financial aid application. In my second year I was chosen to take on coordination of the Acceleration to Excellence Scholarship Program. I reorganized the processes by which students enrolled, a multi-year project including a complete revision of the new student publication, met with 6 outside departments to refine their procedures. In this position I assisted with the office and campus transition from FileMaker Pro to an Oracle driven database, and with the complete overhaul and redesign of the Admission publication suite.

Oversaw student services for a branch campus which offered day and evening certificate training programs to ~300 students. Responsibilities included processing admission applications, providing course registration guidance to incoming students, conducting bi-monthly orientation sessions, processing tuition payments and preparing payment reports, and coordinating with admission officers for course scheduling. Also responsible for coordinating teacher coverage with other campuses, assigning classroom spaces and resources, ordering books, coordinating with Career Services for internship placement, producing certificates and performing graduation ceremonies. After approximately 3 months on the job my supervisor was transferred, leaving me the only student support staff member on campus for the remainder of my tenure; I was also the primary ombudsman and chief morale officer.
