I serve as Director/Principal at Twin Rivers Charter School (TRCS), a TK-8 Independent Charter School in Yuba City, CA. Our purpose is to empower all students to learn for life by fostering academic excellence and citizenship. TRCS students have shown consistent growth over the last 8 years, closing achievement gaps for diverse student populations. TRCS is a 2024 Model PLC at Work School, a 2023 California Distinguished School, a 2022 California Green Ribbon Award recipient, a 2022 CA PBIS Platinum School, and a 2022 CA Pivotal Practices School.

I coordinate student achievement data and reporting at Twin Rivers and I am developing a K-8 music program for the school. Go, Tigers!

Sing To Learn is my small home-based business for sharing my songwriting, videos, and iOS apps. My vision for Sing To Learn is to be the leading resource of educational songs for children, families, and educators.

As VP and RTI Coordinator I supported the the students, staff, and school community in achieving the school's vision of success. Luther School's Vision is: Dedicated to Academic Excellence, Individual Success, and the Cultivation of Caring, Confident Citizens.

My responsibilities included assisting in the transition to Common Core standards in Mathematics and English Language Arts, building support for adopting PLC practices, updating and managing report cards, coordinating the Student and Parent Portal assisting with Illuminate Education Data and Assessment Software, directing the performing arts program.
