I joined Texaco’s Latin America/West Africa division and worked overseas for 15 years in Europe, West Africa, the Caribbean, Central and South America. I worked in the Downstream segment of the business, managing Service Station, Commercial, Aviation and Marine business throughout the Region. I managed Jobber accounts in the West Indies and negotiated with sovereign states for the movement of crude and refined product. I then migrated to managing sales in Latin America for Tokheim, then VW/Audi, then with Xponcard, a Scandinavian SIM card manufacturer. I sold fiber optic internet pipe and colocation services for Bellsouth and AT&T, earning certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate and a Microsoft Certified Network Engineer. I was the Regional Business Development Manager for the SE United States for Brinks when I was offered the opportunity to return to the business I love: Petroleum. I’ve been with PetroLiance/PetroChoice since 2008. Sailing is my sport. That includes One Design Racing in Flying Scots, and crewing on larger yachts for coastal and off-shore regattas. I am an avid student of history. I am bilingual: Spanish and English.
