I continue to lead the drug discovery and late stage pre-clinical development of autoimmune/anti-inflammatory disease targets at Elasmogen Limited. Also as a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow, I recently secured a £2M leadership funding from UKRI to support the development of Elasmogen Ltd's next generation biologics treatment for a number of autoimmune inflammatory diseases, and develop my team and I as leaders in the field.

As the company's principal investigator on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Queen's University Belfast (QUB), I directly provide scientific and career guidance to the KTP associate (post-doctoral) for the duration of the project (2019-2021). Through my supervision and regular management meetings with the academic supervisor at QUB, we ensure that research and innovation excellence, as well as the continued commercial relevance of the research align with Elasmogen's core values and business interests.

Elasmogen is a new spin-out company currently located in the Scottish Biologics Facility, University of Aberdeen and part of the city’s thriving biologics cluster. Elasmogen’s technology is a unique single-domain (soloMER) platform and is a next-generation therapeutics company exploiting the power of proteins (biologics) as drugs but in simpler and more cost efficient formats. The Elasmogen team is led by industry professionals who have secured significant funding to support the commercialisation of its validated and IP protected soloMER generation platforms and its pipeline of anti-inflammatory and auto-immune products in pre-clinical development.
