Obinna Onuoha is a resourceful public health expert with over eight years of local and international experience in risk communication and community engagement (RCCE), global health security, health policy, health promotion and capacity building for emergency preparedness and response, life-course immunization, and health systems strengthening. He is interested in One Health-related issues including zoonoses, food safety, antimicrobial resistance, and other health areas such as neglected tropical diseases and universal health coverage. He participated in the policy and advocacy campaign of the ONE Campaign at The Global Fund 6th Replenishment Conference in October 2019, where he helped influence French President Emmanuel Macron, Bill Gates and global leaders in government, private sector and public health to attain the Global Fund $14 billion goal to end HIV, tuberculosis and malaria from 2021-2023.
