As the Project Coordinator at Literacy Africa International, I was solely responsible for raising awareness about literacy problem among children that exist in Africa. I also source for donors of used children books across Australia.Facilitating the shipment of donated books to disadvantaged kids across Africa was also my duty.

As a Co-founder of the media company, I had the following responsibilities:- Public relations, admin and research.- Events organizing and coordinating across Africa.- Developing and marketing of events to prospective sponsors.I also was able to establish media relations with leading corporate media houses across Africa and Australia.

As a Community Engagement Intern at Make Poverty History Australia, I ran a nation-wide anti-poverty campaign that witnessed the participation of over 50,000 Australians across the nation. In doing so, I established my reputation as one who can mobilize support for a cause at every level of society.I performed administrative tasks such organizing meeting, presentations to donors, filing, faxing, preparing reports, marketing of the project and other miscellaneous tasks.Also at Make Poverty History, I was made responsible for maintaining social media links with large member database due to my exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

As a member of the SRC, my duty was to represent individual students and the student body at large in order to protect and advance their interests. I was able to deliver quality student representation to the university corporate body.One of my duties was to act as a liaison between students, management and other stakeholders.I also helped ensure accessible education of true quality for all students, regardless of race, gender, place of birth or belief system.
