• Initiate and maintain existing relationship with customers, key partners, team member etc• Drive extensive market research.• Coordinate vessel sales & purchase and chartering.• Drive the process of contract negotiation, execution and implementation process.• Drive the commercial process of invoicing, reconciliation and credit recovery.• Manage and mentor team members.• Supervise company financial management system.• Develop and manage “Customer Relationship Management” (CRM) System.

• Regular update of vendor management system database.• Support tendering and project team on Marine Vessel Category (MVC).• Coordinate MVC requests for quotation (RFQ), bids and selection process.• Negotiate vessel charter party agreements (BIMCO) and operation supplies contract (bunkers, provisions, spares etc) for project fleet.• Monitor and manage purchase orders (PO), charter party agreements, ship management contracts, standard contracts and frame agreements.• Monitor service delivery, goods receipt. Effect timely and accurate update on SAP ERP.

• Ensure SAFETY FIRST!!! in SHELL marine operation.• Conduct vessel pre-hire survey as per SHELL pre-mob procedure.• Ensure all lifting equipment and accessories are duly certified and fit for purpose.• Ensure all personnel are competent and in the right hearts and minds for operation.• Preside over daily planning meeting of Logistics base and marine operation meeting. • Coordinate vessel load/discharge and freight documentation.• Manage and operate all marine vessels in SHELL fleet.• Liaise with Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) to ensure vessel traffic statutory compliance.• Enhance and drive continuous improvement of marine operations and commercials procedure.• Initiate and monitor the procurement and logistics of operations supplies.• Laise with various logistics team (warehouse, land transport, stacking area etc) to facilitate timely cargo delivery.• Coordinate logistics base key performance indicators (KPI), statistics and data analysis.

• Coordinate logistics base planning meeting.• Generate and publish daily operation plan.• Allocation and deployment of logistics base resources to planned operation.• Monitoring feedback to ensure that service delivery is within service level agreement (SLA).• Receive complaints and resolve promptly.• Resolve disputes and escalate where necessary. • Initiate, propose and drive the continuous improvement of operation and commercial process.• Train and mentor operation executive team.• Coordinated logistics base statistics and publish key performance indicators

• Coordinate shore documentation system for all the vessels company fleet.• Monitor vessel itinerary and plan for port operations.• Request port equipments and stevedores services.• Tally cargo operation and generate outward cargo manifest.• Liaise with regulatory authorities (Nigerian Immigration Service, Nigerian Customs Service, Nigeria Ports Authority etc).
