As a Creative Lecturer at Kirklees College, I’ve spent over two decades sharing my skills for all things visual, from photography to graphic design, and weaving exciting, hands-on courses that bring these disciplines to life. I believe my creativity will prepare students to tackle the ever-changing world of the creative industries with confidence, style, and a good dose of flair.I also lend my expertise as a visiting moderator for Pearson, ensuring standards in GCSE Art & Design across its many vibrant specialisms. With a broad range of skills in advertising, social media, and even resilience, I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills and keep my teaching fresh, dynamic, and relevant.I try to be innovative in a ever changing environment, harnessing the latest digital tools and teaching techniques to craft immersive learning experiences that truly click with today’s young creatives. For me, it’s not just about teaching the skills—they’re important, sure—but also building resilience and adaptability. I want my students to leave not just ready for the creative world, but ready to shine in it.
