I like computers, but I like people more. I think 50% of my work as a software developer is to properly communicate with people, and 50% is about communicating with the computer. Especially considering I work 100% remotely (East Coast TZ).Most of my latest experience revolves around architecting and developing SaaS B2C/B2B web applications with Ruby on Rails, applying CI/CD pipelines and hosting on the cloud, mostly via Heroku.I've done everything from cowboy coding to agile methodologies, from weird and niche languages to mainstream enterprise stuff, from coding in the trenches to managing teams. There's always something new to learn!I'm a big fan of using the best practices to develop high quality software... but also a strong believer in pragmatism. Sometimes legacy working apps don't really need to be rewritten from scratch, even if we as developers feel tempted to do so.My goal is to work with smart people establishing meaningful working relationships and collaborate on solving problems, creating products and businesses through technology.
