About Óscar Cejudo Corbalán
While finishing my Joint Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Architecture I realized my strong interest and passion for the defense of Social Justice. This is why, once I completed my studies, I volunteered for almost two years in various institutions and NGOs, which allowed me to consolidate my commitment to participate in processes of social transformation.I have studied a Masters in International Policy and Development with a specialization in Conflict Resolution and Social Justice at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California, with French as my second language. Thanks to this, I have obtained a deeper and more diverse theoretical understanding as well as the skills and practical experiences that allow me to improve my participation in this discipline.Within the field of Conflict Resolution, I am especially attracted to work at the grassroots level, engaging with those affected. The main areas of personal interest are Youth Engagement, TVE/PVE, Migration and Identity, all of them understood from a perspective that aims for Diversity and Equity. I aspire to dedicate my professional –and personal- life to working with injustices trying to do my best to move towards a positive transformation of the world structures. To this end, I firmly believe in local changes as a means to achieve global transformation.
