Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge

Collected data for an abnormal amphibian study for a U.S. Geological Survey. Banded wood ducks for a National Wildlife Refuge study and assisted a graduate student track radio collared bears using telemetry. Used GPS to map invasive species and designed informative signs for the Refuge to use along its boardwalk. Helped lead after school programs for local school children to teach them about their surrounding ecosystem.
