As legal counsel with a corporate advisory background, I have experience providing legal support to business units and stakeholders, as well as, assisting clients with a broad range of commercial matters from providing and preparing general corporate advice and agreements to working on transactions. Working within the IMG Arena vertical of this sports, events, media and fashion corporate group, I provided legal support to the company on rights acquisitions and sales, sports services agreements, collaboration arrangements and all ancillary legal issues relating to the business unit. This included pro-actively working with the legal team and wider business (e.g. through training sessions) to ensure that best practice was understood, shared and utilised. In my private practice past, I assisted with mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, joint venture agreements, the set-up of not-for-profit organisations, novel agreement suites for large-scale projects and the negotiation and preparation of agreements with government bodies. I am experienced in advising on commercial, privacy, company, intellectual property, not-for-profit, corporate governance, security and consumer law matters, amongst other areas.
