Change isn't easy, but my experience has taught me how to navigate complexities, remain flexible while delivering results, and thrive in an evolving organizational and business landscape.In my role at Johns Hopkins University, I have played a leadership role evolving a small student services division into a multifaceted, shared services organization that now supports over 32,000 students across JHU's nine schools. I have aligned financial resources, introduced technologies, streamlined processes, led projects, and recruited and aligned talent to transform the student experience. I have the privilege to lead over 300 finance, HR, IT, facilities, and dining service staff.At Laureate Education I built a global, shared services organization supporting student billing and accounts receivable, registration and records, and enrollment reporting. Starting with services for two schools, and evolving to support ten schools (both online and campus-based), I led integrations as Laureate acquired new schools as well as realigned internally, shifting schools into my division's portfolio. I stood up and managed 100+ staff across eight sites, including U.S. locations, Amsterdam, and Gdansk, Poland.In my ten years at T. Rowe Price, I had the opportunity to begin as a Project Manager/Process Engineer and grow to a VP, Investment Operations. During that time, I gained significant experience in managing financial operations and mitigating risk. I also supported new product launches, including new funds registered in Luxembourg, and I advanced global processing in conjunction with T. Rowe's London office.While I make data-based decisions, and carefully manage the money, I know people are the heart of an organization.
