My journey to grief recovery began after experiencing significant losses in my life, and the pain of those losses stayed with me even though I thought I had dealt with them.When I was a freshman in college, my mother was diagnosed with liver cancer, and I was devastated by the news. Although I was able to spend time with her before her passing, the loss left a significant hole in my heart and life. After college, I moved to Atlanta, GA, to start my career in advertising and begin my new life as a married woman. However, my joy was short-lived when my first child, Liam, was stillborn. I was heartbroken, and my pain was compounded when I went through a difficult divorce shortly after.These experiences opened my eyes to the complex emotions that come with loss and the impact it can have on one's life. This led me to become a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist, and my clients appreciate my compassionate and understanding approach to grief. Promoted in 2002 to project manage the entire creative organization with an additional promotion in 2006 to join the company’s executive leadership team. Maintain full P&L accountability for delivery of advertising services from a team of 13 employees in the creative services, traffic and studio departments. Hired and manage a Senior Traffic Production Manager. Determine best utilization of 10 contract staff. • Maintain on-time and within budget deliveries on 150-200 ongoing projects since 2002, providing operations and project management leadership for a creative team that has never missed clients’ key objectives. • Promoted to the leadership team in 2006 to provide input on the company’s strategic direction, business model, staffing allocation and operations infrastructure.• Meet with Account Management regularly and maintain final approval for pricing strategy for proposals valued up to millions of dollars for print, direct mail, production, radio, TV, video and online projects and campaigns.• Negotiate vendor contracts; reduced TV spot trafficking fee to stations by 50%. • Produce videos and TV spots with budgets of up to a million dollars. • Launched the implementation of Advantage Traffic Management application. • Lead mission-critical status meetings with the creative and traffic teams to ensure on-time and within budget delivery on all contracts. Propose alternative solutions to minimize expenses without compromising quality. Directed workflow, budgets, timelines and deliverables along with managing jobs through the studio. Developed expertise in print, direct mail, and marketing collateral, costs, logistics and production. • Created the operations infrastructure, processes and procedures for the entire traffic management function which supported extensive growth and 250% expansion in staffing over 2 years. • Met timelines and budget requirements on 100% of all projects and campaigns. • Implemented the use of the Advantage traffic management application to track all projects, expenses and timelines.• Managed cost-effective work flow, scheduling projects for up to 10 freelance employees during peak work periods.
