About Peter O'Connor
I am a driven, dedicated, and inquisitive Software engineer that loves solving problems from small bugs to large business and technological milestones. I have been doing software engineering in the Web world, micro-computer based contract work, and personal investigative research for the past many years.I love being able to help people see their systems turn into products that can make a difference in their ability to work with their customers and customers with them.My current interests have been working with Net 6 APIs and Angular to create seamless interactions between users and their business. I've been pioneering the use of Micro-front ends and RxJS patterns for users to have a quicker in application experience. Leveraging these technologies alongside our SQL instances on prem and interacting with Azure for access to Office 365 and SharePoint creates apps that users love and can do their jobs. I like to push the envelope and this is how I've brought CCPS from a Classic ASP.NET/ASP.NET WebForms to a more modern JS framework implementation. I always seek out consensus from my fellow team and ask for their opinions so they can be bought into the changes needed as well. This has earned the respect of my fellow coworkers and even earned me the Lead Software Developer at CCPS.I've also been focusing lately on learning more NgRX implementations of Angular and will be continuing to work with it to bring it to fruition at my current work assignment.
