Hi, I'm Octavio Benavides, a driven sophomore at The University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a double major in the Canfield Business Honors Program and Finance, with a minor in Real Estate. Growing up in Laredo, Texas, I developed a passion for entrepreneurship and real estate, earning my Texas Real Estate Sales Agent License in high school and leasing apartments to students during college.Through diverse experiences—including internships in real estate development and sales, founding multiple small businesses, and active involvement in leadership roles—I have cultivated skills in financial modeling, market analysis, client relations, and team management. At Kraus Real Estate Development, I built financial models for a $300M industrial project and contributed to strategic decisions for nearly 1,000 acres of warehouse development. My entrepreneurial ventures, such as Imperial Kicks and Octavio's Curbside Painting, taught me valuable lessons in marketing, negotiation, and customer service, generating over $30,000 in combined revenue.On campus, I actively engage in organizations such as Phi Chi Theta, the Texas Undergraduate Real Estate Society, and the Hispanic Finance Association, where I develop my expertise in finance, real estate, and market trends.
