I am a current graduate student receiving my Master's in Educational Leadership, Politics and Advocacy at New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. I also currently work at the NYU College Advising Corps, where I work in a high school full-time supporting underrepresented students apply and enroll in college. My experiences in my undergraduate studies as a first-generation, low-income student of color and as a mentor to students from similar backgrounds has made passionate about college access and success work for that student population. I hope to continue my career in higher education where I can apply principles of social justice and educational equity to promote positive change in both educational and societal settings.
