Move over Steve Harvey and make room Nick Cannon, because Octavius Davis is proving he has what it takes to stand, center-stage. Initially acquired as a fill-in host for the 14 year hit production, at The Ritz Theatre & Museum; Octavius quickly earned the title of 'Amateur Night Host', after one show. His sophisticated charm is equally matched by his quick-wit; smooth articulate baritone voice, GQ dress attire; and jaw-dropping dance moves. Simply put...Octavius is entertainment personified!In addition to hosting 'Amateur Night', he also does freelance work as an emcee, including: charity events, parties and special events.

With nearly 20 years experience, in radio, Octavius burst onto the voice-acting scene in 2006. While attending an annual urban radio conference, in South Beach, Octavius entered a radio commercial contest, sponsored by GMC. Though he didn't possess the formal training customary for most voice-actors; his self-produced commercial; which he wrote, voiced and developed in post-production, won the contest and a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali. GMC liked the commercial so much, they also used it for their 2007 campaign of the vehicle. In addition to GMC, he's voiced hundreds of projects, including: Green Dot, the Florida Department of Transportation, Conde Nast, etc...and is represented by First Coast Talent Agency, in Jacksonville; and IDIOM Talent Agency in Los Angeles.

Positioned in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville's LaVilla area; The Ritz Theatre & Museum is poised to be reintroduced to the Jacksonville community, through effective marketing and relationship development. As the theatre's Marketing & Development Manager, I'm responsible for spearheading this exciting and reinvigorating process.

As co-founder and general manager of WPOD Media, I'm responsible for developing the continuity of our stations; and creating branding opportunities between our station(s) and the community.
