A key part of my love for modelmaking lies in the storytelling and world-making capabilities of a model. I specialise in detail orientated work, but my portfolio houses a wide range of models from animation sets to exhibition models making me open to a career in a range of industries including marketing, heritage, film and TV.Working on the impeccably detailed miniature sets and props for stop motion animation is where I hope to bring my skills in the future. Throughout my education I have discovered a passion for creating miniature worlds, refining my skills in replicating objects to scale, paint finishes, hard edge fabrication and design work.I have also enjoyed sculpting and developing my knowledge of moulding and casting processes – something I would be keen to explore further. Education has not only provided me with experience in a workshop environment, familiarity with various CAD/CAM processes and material knowledge, but the ability to effectively communicate, work in a team and manage my time. I look forward to working in a creative industry, collaborating with, and learning from other likeminded people who share a passion for making.
