I'm extending my role as a Project Controls Engineer on the Mobile Launcher 2 Project with Bechtel, contributing to NASA's groundbreaking Artemis Mission. Our mission is to make history by landing the first woman and person of color on the Moon, leveraging innovative technologies for extensive lunar exploration. This sets the stage for our next monumental leap – sending the first astronauts to Mars. Exciting times ahead!Prior, I was at the Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) in Washington State. The Hanford Site is one of the largest and most expensive environmental cleanup projects worldwide. My daily responsibilities include creating and collecting data for analysis, ensuring data accuracy, and compiling monthly data and reporting it back to the Department of Energy.Before my role at Bechtel, I served as a Project Controls Associate at Hanford Mission Integration. During this, I actively contributed to yearly fiscal funds tracking, analysis, and the development and maintenance of risk spreadsheets. As a Procurement System Support intern at Washington River Protection Solutions, ​​I gained insight into post-award reviews of awarded contracts and amended subcontracts. I actively reviewed the status of contracts submittals. My first internship as a Property/Asset Management Intern my involvement was in Annual Sensitive & Non-Sensitive Inventory assessments and Bi-Annual Equipment Inventory further enriched my understanding of inventory control and asset management processes. In addition to my professional roles, I have been actively engaged in leadership positions that have allowed me to contribute to the growth and advancement of my industry. Currently, I serve as the Global External Affairs Chair position for the Bechtel Business Resource Group, B-Famila.
