About Odalys Jasmine García Arce

¡Hola, mi gente! It’s your girl Odalys Jasmine and I’m glad you’re here. Let me keep it real with you and tell you who I am before I tell you what I do.I’m a first-gen Latina from Southeast San Diego. 🇭🇳 I was born a U.S. citizen in a family of Honduran immigrants — that in itself gave me certain privileges my family couldn't have because of their status and an unchecked box. So as most first-generation kids, I promised to take every opportunity to learn, grow and give back to my community. This is my why. My differentiator. My strength. And it fuels who I am and what I do.🎙️I’m a content creator, strategist, brand nerd and I love a good compelling story. I host the Hella Latin@ podcast, a platform for first-gen Latinos and/or immigrants to share their story navigating Latinidad and identity in the United States. Hella Latin@ was featured on Telemundo and was voted Top Latino Podcast to Listen To in the last two years. Through earned and paid media, and a lot more passion for the culture, I’ve been able to scale Hella Latin@ from a side project to a full scale business. 👩🏻‍💻✨ I create experiences — virtual, hybrid, in person, large-scale or intimate, I’m your girl. I thrive when it comes to problem solving, project managing and creating meaningful yet memorable experiences. If there's one thing my low-income upbringing taught me, it's how to bring community together and create something beautiful despite scarce resources. 🎤 I’m a speaker and facilitator. I’ve hosted 200+ workshops in the last three years and have been hired as a guest/keynote speaker for top tech companies, universities and nonprofit organizations. My sweet spot is storytelling and branding. How do you identify and craft your story? How can companies create space for more Latino voices? I talk about that and everything else in between.🫶🏻 I’m first gen everything. And I never forget my roots. I coach other first-generation/Latino students on the power of owning your story, background and adversities. Because everyone deserves an opportunity to thrive — no matter what boxes they can or can’t check off.Read more about my story ➡️ https://shoutoutla.com/meet-odalys-jasmine-garcia-arce-hella-latin-podcast-host-event-project-manager-at-linkedin/
