My role is on the delivery team helping customers worldwide optimize the use of our VMS. Employed in a temporary vacancy. Responsible for handling port calls for ships including tasks such as ordering of berths, pilots and tugs. Keeping all parties updated prior to and during port calls. Responsible for ordering of transport and accommodation for crew signing on and off ships.

Hansa Tankers trade stainless steel chemical tankers in worldwide trade with focus on chemicals, palm/veg oils and CPP. I was part of the company when they grew from 4 ships in 2011 up to a steady fleet of around 30 ships from 2015 onwards. My main achievements:- Becoming Senior Ship Operator with Performance responsibilities with limited background knowledge from chemical tankers. Chemical Tanker Parcel Trading is perhaps the most complex segment within shipping. I achieved this by setting annual development goals always applying Operational Excellence. Adding my commercial mindset I proved a valuable asset to Hansa Tankers.- Developing and programming Stowage Calculators for daily use within the company. The tool makes it easier to optimize the stowage and thereby improve earnings for the company.- Took an active part in what Hansa Tankers deem a revolution of performance related to tank cleaning and avoiding surveyors in the cargo tanks prior loading – the so called “washing water analysis project” utilizing a Spectrometer. This pioneering project is saving human lives, reducing emissions, easing workload for ship’s crew whilst also potentially improving the bottom line for both ship owners and charterers.

Green Reefers own specialized reefer vessels which transport cold and frozen cargoes, mainly fish, fruits, vegetables and meat.

Privatmegleren Boligutleie Bergen rented out and managed properties on behalf of professional real estate investors and private individuals. My tasks were renting out and managing a certain portfolio of properties. Main focuses were sales and building relations.

KGJS is one of the largest ship owning companies in Norway. At the time when I was in KGJS, the Gearbulk fleet (now part of G2 Ocean) was also under KGJS.

Fjord Line is a ferry company which at the time I was working there served passenger ferries between Bergen/Newcastle and Bergen/Denmark
