The new Pan Fish Scotland was bought by Lighthouse Caledonia ASA in October 2007 and changed its name to Lighthouse Caledonia Ltd. I was given the opportunity to take the role and responsibility as a CEO of Lighthouse Caledonia ASA and MD for Lighthouse Caledonia Ltd the 20th of December 2007Lighthouse Caledonia was one of the biggest integrated salmon farming companies in Scotland with an annually volume of more then 20,000 tonnes.

Pan Fish Scotland lost money in 2002, 2003 and 2004. We in Pan Fish Scotland created a new strategy in 2004 and based on addition of new competence and creating a complementary hard working team based on new and old members, Pan Fish Scotland made a small profit in 2005 and had fulfilled a successful turnaround in 2006. In 2007 Pan Fish were consolidated with Fjord Seafood Scotland Ltd and assets from Marine Harvest Scotland Ltd. The company become divested through an IPO in December 2007.

Rogaland County, Norway

Kverneland Naerboe had lost money in 2000 and needed new input to internal processes. The company made a break-even in 2001 and made an acceptable profit in 2002. The BoD chose to close the company in 2003 and I were in charge of moving the production from Norway to Germany, sell the property and equipment. I was also responsible to find new employments for for our 150 staff. The company were closed spring 2004.
