As both a psychiatrist and a meditation practitioner and teacher, my professional focus is on bridging these worlds into an integrative model, trying to embody it in my practice. At Be'er Sheva mental health center, one of the biggest mental health centers in Israel, I'm in charge of implementing mindfulness- based treatments and thought, into existing hard core psychiatry and with outpatient clients, both at hospital and in a private clinic.Bringing concepts of Mind-Body-Spirit into psychiatry and healing in general, seems to be essential both for patients and for health care professionals, for dealing with stress, fears, and a wide variety of suffering.
