Odei received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Performance, Arranging and Composition at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. During this time he became a winner of the Ruud Booker Jazz Talent Award.Also, Odei became a winner in the category "Best Trombonist" at the international competition "Master Jam Festival". In 2016 he went to study at the Manhattan School of Music (New York). In 2020, Performed at the Carnegie Hall as a guest soloist and lead trombonist with the "Wind of Change" program.Odei Al-Magut currently works as a professional musician, touring and collaborating with the top leading artists and projects. Collaborated with (NDR Big-Band, The Temptations & The Four Tops, Euroradio Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra of Concertgebouw, Northern European Jazz Orchestra and many more)He is well known for his work as a lead player and featured soloist for commercial recordings, television and has contributed on albums and performances for most popular Russian Pop, Rock & Hip-Hop artists including (EMIN, Diana Arbenina, Anzhelika Varum, BASTA and many more)Odei has been the lead trombonist and soloist on numerous most popular TV Shows in Russia.
