Firmware Engineer
Current- Worked with mechanical, electrical and software engineers as well as research scientists to develop digital sensors used to measure the environment both above and below ground.
- Managed digital sensor firmware base for all METER Environment sensors including legacy products, utilizing both SVN and Git version control systems.
- Developed new features for digital sensors using the MSP430 5xxx series of micro controllers, in C and assembly.
- Implemented concurrent communications on sensor with 14 atmospheric measurements.
- Designed and wrote low level I2C driver to interact with accelerometers, altimeters, and barometric pressure sensors.
- Managed firmware from development to full production release, including developing test plans, managing test builds, and updating customer facing documentation.
