I graduated at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) in Belgium as a civil engineer in information technology in 1994. After various experiences as developer and trainer, product manager, project manager and enterprise architect (IAF and TOGAF certifications obtained) in the government and transport industry and later in the finance and insurance industry, I joined Generali Belgium in 2010 (Non-life and Life insurances).I started as front (channel) applications manager and have progressively evolved to my current position as IT director in charge of all IT applications. As such I'm responsible for delivering change and maintenance projects, managing the internal team and the external suppliers.I have a passion for innovative solutions, rewarded by 4 Innovation awards from the Decavi insurance trophy between 2017 and 2019 in both life and non-life. I also have a very strong focus on delivering solutions and projects in aggressive time frames, maximizing the added value with the given resources and keeping a strong eye on future-proofness and reusability (my background as an architect).
