Hold continuously evolving engineering role in support of Intel’s CPU processors and chipsets. Leverage thermal expertise as owner of development and deployment of Burn-In (BI) technology, equipment, methods, and modules to drive BI stress testing throughout product development life cycle. Support Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) in R&D for thermal technologies. Team with key stakeholders and suppliers to determine requirements, review and critique designs, and develop and execute experimental plans. Lead several Low Cost Burn-In (LCBI) forums in support of NPIs, task forces, and development closure.Major Contributions & Key Results:▪ Managed BI module development for Xeon 7500 processor, leading on-time completion of deliverables and driving efforts that enabled qualification of module tooling ahead of first silicon.▪ Led task force through multi-phase characterization and successful resolution of failure in Multi-Unit Thermal Array to meet specification targets for maximum power capability; drove identification of new Thermal Interface Material solution that improved maximum performance ~70%.▪ Championed Intel’s in-house SPC methodology by creating standardized BI data review template for all module owners; improved consistency and quality of module engineering presentations and trained team.▪ Taught "PCS 101 Intro to Process Control Systems" course, Intel’s in-house SPC methodology, to Assembly Test Technology Development and Assembly Test Manufacturing groups.▪ Supported development of two-phase thermal technology, including identifying gaps in proposed system and solutions; wrote and executed comprehensive test plan as well as contributed to developing matrix to identify risk areas of new technology for use in BI.▪ Designed and built two-phase prototyping facility for study of thermal solutions across various platforms.

Provided support to pipe stress analysis group for nuclear power plant project, including performing practical testing of new, Y2K compliant, analysis, and modeling software.Developed and maintained database of vendor information and documentation for piping analysis, providing centralized source allowing engineers to perform analysis more efficiently while simplifying documentation.Designed and analyzed piping support structures in compliance with ASME Code for nuclear power plants.

Worked on various projects for the Thermal Protection Materials & Systems branch.Major Contributions & Key Results:▪ Designed and executed experiments for better understanding of waterproofing and emittance characteristics of new ablative thermal protection material; published results in NASA Technical Memorandum.▪ Validated novel approach for measuring mass flow in a vacuum environment and provided valuable data on TPS performance for the X-33 by creating calibration method for experimental procedure.▪ Enabled two-thirds reduction in lab overhead costs by analyzing materials lab capabilities and usage.▪ Held key role in lab attaining ISO 9001 certification by writing ISO 9001 documentation for lab equipment and establishing standard procedures.▪ Conducted research on Inverse Heat Conduction Problem and analyzed time variant surface heat flux using internal temperature measurements; designed and wrote program to perform numerical analysis.
