What sets me apart is my belief that every one of us has a unique set of abilities or gifts, and our life will be much more fulfilling if we identify what they are and work with them. The excitement of helping someone get clear on what they really love to do and then finding resources to support that makes work worthwhile. I'm not kidding when I say it's "never too late." I love working with adult learners and helping them map out educational strategies and give them the extra push to go for it. My favorites involve long-time employees who were nearing retirement and decided to fulfill their lifelong dreams of getting a degree. I'm not sure who was more proud.I thrive on stepping into the unknown and working with groups of people to explore that space, clarify their thinking, define the outcomes and complete the project. That's the power of high-performing teamwork. I agree with Margaret Mead, the famous anthropologist, about this..."Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." When I’m not working, I enjoy experimenting with gourmet and ethnic cooking, learning about the latest issues and discoveries in the world of science, medicine, and spirituality and searching out how other high performing human beings are expanding the boundaries of what is considered possible and living extraordinary lives. Being a fairly recent transplant to Arizona, I'm excited to discover fun activities like rock and mineral hunting and burro runs (yes a run through the countryside with a donkey at your side!).
