As the co-founder and CEO of OmniumAI, I lead a team of talented data scientists and engineers who are passionate about solving complex biomedical problems using cutting-edge data-driven methods. We leverage our expertise in metagenomics, systems biology, and bioinformatics to create innovative solutions for the life sciences and bioengineering sectors. Our mission is to empower researchers, clinicians, and biotech companies with the tools and insights they need to advance human health and well-being.I also have nearly 10 years of experience as an assistant researcher at the University of Minho, where I collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of scientists and academics on various projects related to the modeling and analysis of metagenomes. I have contributed to the development and publication of multiple papers and software tools that enhance the understanding and application of omics data. I have a strong background in computer science and research and development, as well as a PhD in Systems Biology and Bioinformatics, a Master of Science in Informatics, and a Graduation in Biological Engineering from the same university.
