While continuing to work as the primary backend engineer at Rehive I have taken on additional leadership responsibilities. I manage the primary development and feature roadmap, create and assign tasks and work with the greater team to design, plan, and prioritize upcoming features. I spend considerable effort ensuring our ecosystem is well designed, easy to understand and adequately documented. Additionally I contribute directly to our ecosystem's extensive codebase by iterating on our APIs, reviewing code, optimizing functionality, and developing new features.

I worked as a lead backend engineer at Rehive. Designed, planned, and built out the core architecture, APIs, and infrastructure of the Rehive ecosystem. Aggressively optimized and made improvements to the increasingly wide feature set. Contributed to long term planning within the Rehive technical space and led most of the backend design decisions.

I transitioned to a developer leadership role at Lima Bean in 2015. I led a small team of developers working on a range of web based projects from large eCommerce stores to booking systems. Trained, mentored and helped build a team of capable developers.

I worked as a full stack web developer in a fast-paced agency environment. I mostly worked with PHP, JavaScript, and HTML5 to build websites, specifically eCommerce sites. I led the development of several major projects as well as provided continuous improvement to other projects on retainer.
