Assets in the portfolio under review include European RMBS, Whole Business Securitisations, Covered Bonds, Consumer ABS and Trade Receivables. Analysis also involved other traded products where underlying collateral included ABS assets such as repo transactions.Reporting to Head of Structured Finance and Global Head of Securitisation.Key duties and responsibilities:• Prepare credit applications in close cooperation with originating team for approval by credit committee;• Monitoring performance of assigned ABS portfolios and close cooperation with Portfolio Managers to rebalance portfolio in light of changes to the wider economic situation and transaction specific performance issues;• Writing asset class and transaction credit reviews for presentation and approval by credit committee;• Cash flow modelling and sensitivity analysis in order to create required Loan Loss Provisions;• Performance monitoring of a pool of UK non-conforming residential mortgages under the responsibility of the Special Credit Solutions team.The role also involves the assessment of the suitability and adequacy of hedging instruments in securitisations including the ranking of swap payments in relation to other creditors, such as bond holders and others.
