Currently I am a research assistant (RA) working at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, AB. In this role, I assist with clinical trials in multiple myeloma by ordering and preparing research kits and ensuring that the proper laboratory tests are ordered with each clinical study visit.As a graduate student, I worked on a project relating to atherosclerosis and cardiovascular sciences. As an undergraduate I worked in a proteomics lab and I have experience in several biochemistry laboratory techniques such as bacterial protein expression, SDS-PAGE, and size exclusion chromatography (SEC). In my downtime I like to go skiing, running, hiking, or whatever else gets me out of the house!
