I am the Manager of the SW HIL Validation team at Zoox. Building a safe and reliable autonomy stack requires a robust validation effort. Our systems find integration bugs, latency increases, and functionality bugs before they make it on to a vehicle. Our team is very cross functional to the point where it easier to think of teams that we don't work with than listing all the teams we do.Previously I worked in the special projects group at Apple, was a staff researcher at the SWARM lab at UC Berkeley, the Lab Manager of the CITRIS Invention lab, and an instructor at the TechShop.I have managed large teams, built test systems, automated those systems to run continuous integration tests, managed requirements, worked with vendors, and debuged complicated systems. In the process I have brought test systems through CE certification for international deployment.
