At Chicagochec I run a study hall for students who have ADHD and those who struggle with studying in general. I also attend a staff meeting that includes a team of six individuals across the globe where we collaborate on improving resources for students with ADHD and other disabilities. During downtime, I research other schools for best practices that could be used at NEIU to support students with ADHD. Lastly, I write literature reviews compiling related research that will be presented at a research symposium.

At Haven, I was responsible for meeting the educational and development needs of students with mild to severe disabilities. In some cases, this meant providing one on one support while in other cases this meant helping out with classwork. I attended quarterly professional development training that provided me with skills and knowledge to support students proficiently. I also collaborated with teachers in staff meetings to gain better knowledge on how to support student success.
