David is active as an author and as an orchestral conductor in the Austin and surrounding areas. He has been a professor of music for two universities (private and state funded) teaching applied performance techniques, music appreciation, orchestral repertoire, large ensemble (orchestra and band) and chamber ensembles. David has also worked as business unit manager and technology manager for music software companies. He is the co-author of the Omnibus Edition of "Conductor's Guide to Choral-Orchestral Works" (2019) and co-author of the 6th Edition of "Daniels' Orchestra Music" (2022).David's Specialties: orchestral conducting, public speaking, teaching, editing, writing, client communications and support and team leadership. He has extensive experience teaching technology and teaching music at all levels K through college, he has served as a product clinician presenting at international conferences to diverse audiences.He currently conducts the Austin Philharmonic and the Starlight Symphony.
