After working at Intuit for a few years, I returned to U of I to pursue my master's in Computer Science. I took up a teaching assistant job to pay for my tuition. I helped in a course called Introduction to Java. Besides helping with the code, I had to get into a creative mindset to explain techy terms and explain their importance in the world.

CODE2040 is summer-long program that provides mentorship, leadership training, along with different types of events. As a CODE2040 Fellow we have 2-3 events planned in the evenings each week that usually last 2-3 hours. Lastly, CODE2040 received 800+ applications for this summer's fellows program and I am one of only 87 Fellows - this puts me in the top 10% of tech talent CODE2040 from across the country.

Created a generic FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). A FMEA tests nodes within the cluster (AWS) such as cpu, process, etc. FMEA will catch any abnormal conditions, test the ability to survive those tests and recover. Failures and nodes will be randomly be selected based on probabilities. The probabilities are based on probability per day, intervals per day, and duration. The generic FMEA spits out a schedule - each event object has the time of execution, failure type, node's ip address. The events will execute on the specific time corresponding to them. This schedule is based on duration. The duration can be days or months.

• Worked on a Java project which retrieves information from a repository in Intuit’s GitHub • Correctly formatting content for the standard set of chapters that MindTouch provides for their users• Constructing a UI that determines where the content goes in the MindTouch chapters which then can be IFrame into Intuit’s Services Portal

• Worked on a server-side program using Java• Constructed parsers to analyze data from various of Chemical lab output sources in Excel Files. • Developed a Java-based Graphical User Interface to control parsers along with other neatness features • Worked with Dow Chemical API's using ASP.NET (MVC) applications and Visual Studio 2012
