About Ofer Jacobowitz

I am an internationally-recognized expert in sleep medicine and upper airway surgery for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), snoring and nasal obstruction. I enjoy helping develop new technologies and treatments in the clinical fields of sleep, rhinology and also have a doctorate in pharmacology (cell signaling) with insight into science at the sub-cellular level.For my OSA patients, I employ an ever-evolving personalized treatment approach consisting of CPAP, oral appliances, office or surgical reconstructive procedures, as well as implantable neurostimulation. I have been performing sleep endoscopy DISE for OSA assessment for over 13 years as an additional assessment tool. I am an expert in implantable neurostimulation therapy for OSA, leading early and current clinical trials.In addition, I research and have expertise in the pathogenesis and treatment of sinusitis and nasal obstruction.I very much enjoy collaborating with colleagues in academia and medical industry to innovate and improve our daily livesMy posts are my personal views and do not necessarily reflect the views of the organizations with whom I am affiliated
