Upon arrival to the European subsidiary in 2001, in the midst of the "dot-com" crises, I immediately started with restructuring and cost reduction efforts, including reducing head count and expenses by half, while totally redoing all business process and organizational structure.I was in charge of subsidiaries in 10 European countries including regional offices, employees and commercial activities over the whole continent. I was responsible for budget, pricing and cost controlling, financial reports. I actively participated in negotiations with customers, including the Israeli MOD, US DOD and other foreign government defense agencies, which included managing legal activities in Israel and abroad, price proposal and bids, project financing and monitoring Israeli and foreign subsidiaries. I was promoted to the position after being CFO of Simtech, a simulator manufacturing subsidiary.
