I’m currently working on implementing BI solutions, as part of my agenda to elevate Siemens Israel to the next level.As part of this effort we are looking at: Tableau, SiSense, Qlikview and others. For the past 3 years I’ve been analyzing, designing, constructing and enriching Siemens Israel data ecosystemThe first stage was, analyzing and deconstructing existing reports. In parallel analyzing current systems / process.Second stage (an ongoing process) consists of 3 major activities: 1. redesigning and maintain a more robust and flexible reports (Excel, SQL) based on, internal DW (SAP, BO based BI systems and other ERP systems) and data gathered from our vendors2. processes and systems analysis followed by defining and erecting dedicated systems in SharePoint (mainly using and Web Parts)3. implementing Dashboards and KPI (mainly in Excel, thus the need in BI driven solution) the main goal of all those activities, is to provide ‘user friendly’ data environment from senior management to the entire company spectrum
