Provided leadership, training, development, and direction to the subordinate national staff ensuring that the business objectives of the company are consistently achieved through the efficient management of the operation. The data technical officer is the owner of the mining equipment's key performance indicators in the computerized maintenance management system, ensuring that data inputs are recorded properly into the system and the statistics produced are reliable and readily available for further analysis. Some additional work activities include:* Verify the site's dispatch system every hour and make sure all down equipment is tabulated accurately into sap/amt with the correct coding according to the machine's condition and failure cause* Follow-up and ensure that the equipment returned to service is back into operation at the time the maintenance team released it* Create daily reports for mine maintenance management: month to date physical and mechanical availability; PM schedule compliance; travel times for large hydraulic excavators* Make weekly reports for mine maintenance management: weekly summary for PM schedule compliance; weekly summary in travel times for hydraulic excavators; report on pareto and failures analysis occurred in hydraulic excavators by task type and component code* Generate a monthly report for all fleets (marc and non-marc) involving these key performance indicators: physical availability, mechanical availability, MTBS, MTBF, MTTR, MTBS after PM, service accuracy, breakdown downtime hours & planned downtime hours (stoppages and breakdown analysis), backlog aging, and other specific reports requested by maintenance management* Supervise three data entry clerks working on rotating shifts covering 24/7; escalate and fix issues they cannot solve on their shift* Perform as a back-up planner/scheduler when the incumbent is not present at the mine site

The purpose of this position in the planning department is to develop the most appropriate method and sequence of equipment maintenance operations for the customer 'Prodeco' at Jagua open-pit coal mine. Some work activities include:* Daily verification of work orders and backlogs for each Caterpillar equipment and Bucyrus shovels (777F-789C dump trucks, 16m motor graders, 988h-993k wheel loaders, 854g-834h wheel dozers, d7r-d9t-d10t track-type tractors and hydraulic excavators «cat 330d; O&K RH40e, O&K RH170b») gathering additional information from shift supervisors and on-field service engineers* Daily conciliation of equipment downtime and fleet availability with the client's planning superintendent* In conjunction with customer, schedule the weekly preventive maintenance plan and ensure this weekly programming is achieved, following it up on a daily basis* Use amt mining software to make sure the service accuracy for equipment preventive maintenance takes place within manufacturer's tolerance.
