As Solution Architect for Fundsquare, I have successfully planned and overseen the architecture transformation from legacy onprem ESB services and SQL Server monolith to a decoupled microservices architecture hosted on Azure cloud with tight resources and hard deadlines. In charge of requirements capture, design, specification and coordination of implementation for the new solution for invoicing issuing banks post-migration from the legacy Newcam core business platform to the new Way4 platform. The solution aims to automate most invoicing tasks, be more streamlined, more accurate and more flexible than the existing invoicing automation which is based on a complex flow. The solution is live in production since November 2014 and gradually extending to all issuing banks.Also took part in analyzing and preparing the transition to a new datawarehouse / BI system. Gathered requirements, provided detailed usage analysis for existing reports, estimated migration effort.

I was hired as part of the Performance Improvement workstream and tasked with improving global performance of the new version of BIL's web banking application "BILnet". In collaboration with the Architecture team and DTS, with the help of tools such as Lucierna, JMeter, IBM Support Assistant, and by applying a structured and systematic approach, we managed to • reduce the unitary response times to an acceptable value for public opening• improve global throughput under stress• improve stability of response times with respect to system load• fix fatal errors causing user disconnectionsThe new BILnet website was successfully launched on June 23, 2013.

To adapt to changes in regulations and also to move away from mainframe technology, Ville de Luxembourg is rewriting its mission-critical applications using GWT. After a one-week proof-of-concept that I led in the end of 2007, VDL chose GWT as its core new framework for internal applications. I joined the development team in jan. 2009 to build an application intended to replace the old mainframe-based "registre de la population", mostly used by the Bierger-Center employees.
