Working within the Bureau of Environmental & Occupational Epidemiology, Center for Environmental Health and in conjunction with other team of public health professionals; we shall be working on CDC cooperative agreements for environmental surveillance activities, including the current statewide COVID-19 wastewater-based epidemiology program.

• Collaborate with station Operations to prepare and facilitate daily business reviews (DBRs) for the delivery station.• Conduct daily audits and tasks to ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures.• Review and take appropriate actions based on the weekly business review (WBR) findings.• Coordinate and participate in quarterly evacuations and take shelter drills.• Perform site level safety risk assessments and implement necessary measures as part of the Safety Risk Board (SRB) review process.• Conduct weekly audits and tasks to maintain operational excellence and identify areas for improvement.• Oversee and ensure compliance with storm water and air quality programs.• Facilitate workers’ compensation (WC) reconciliation processes and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.• Implement and promote workplace health and safety (WHS) programs and procedures.• Conduct incident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures.• Utilize the Return to Work (RTW) tool to support employees in their transition back to work after injuries or illnesses.• Monitor and mitigate heat and cold stress risks, updating heat stress control threshold indices (CTIs) as needed.• Provide training to operations and safety teams on relevant policies, procedures, and best practices.• Facilitate the onboarding process for new specialists, ensuring they receive proper training and orientation.• Manage contractor relationships and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

• Co-Study Coordinator for clinical trial studies• Actively Participated in the planning, tracking, and ensuring that clinical research activities are in strict adherence with approved study protocols.• Created and implemented a patient engagement plan to identify and contact potential research participants and then screened and enrolled patients in suitable studies.• Collaborated with other staff in patient screening and determination of participant eligibility for the study, administering and obtaining informed consent following the HIPAA guidelines, etc.• Assisted in filing documents into the eTMF with the use of CTMS.• Assisted with the development and implantation of study-specific monitoring and reporting procedures, methods, guidelines, and tools, and participated in the development of subject tracking systems.

Manage a grant aimed at improving awareness among key and diverse range of stakeholders by enhancing their capacity for timely behavioral change and decision making interventions thereby enabling them to contribute to reversing the negative trends associated with the act of Female Genital Mutilation.

• Conducts site selection for potential sites to evaluate their capabilities for conducting a clinical trial. Recommends sites to participate in clinical trial. Is the frontline liaison between ICON and sites to ensure successful collaboration, meeting ICON expectation on milestone and deliveries• Manages assigned study sites and networks, conducting phase I-III protocols according to the monitoring plan and ICON procedures. Performs Site Initiation Visit, ensures site personnel is fully trained on all trial related aspects. Performs continuous training for amendments and new site personnel as required. Retrains site personnel as appropriate.• Designed the formative research protocol, Monitoring and Evaluation Plan for the project cycle, budgeting, process evaluation study plan for the PAFiN grant.• Assisted in the design of the IHVN trust study and cancer screening and treatment for Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM).
