As a developer at XM.com and Trading.com, I'm involved in the development and maintenance of the backend REST services for these platforms, namely pursuing following activities:▪ Coding REST services and microservices with JAX-RS and Spring Boot for Wildfly and Kubernetes respectively.▪ Designing, maintaining and developing the infrastructure (Terraform) and deployment (Helmchart and Jenkins) scripts for new microservices in AWS.

As part of their outsourced team, I mainly worked on open source VoIP server development and integration - Asterisk, and open source billing system - A2B. One interesting project was to extend A2B to support callback via REST APIs and to build a Blackberry application consuming the API. The Mobile application allowed substantial cost savings on local and international calls compared to telecom rates at that time.iSpeech.org, USiSpeech is a cloud service allowing speech synthesis. During the company’s startup stage I prototyped their Web and Mobile applications. The primary application was a Blackberry Email Voice Reader, which allowed users to listen to their email. The application was build in Java and was calling a REST Web Service for text to speech synthesis. This was the application that company launched with and had a great success.Following are some other outsourcing projects that I worked on:▪ Built several Blackberry applications that were published in Blackberry store: MessageGateway - email to SMS gateway; TimelyMed - medication reminder; TimelySMS - SMS scheduler.▪ Developed a Web embeddable SIP client. Client side was written in Flex and server side was written in Java on top of open source media server - Red5.▪ Developed a J2ME chat client along with a Java proxy server for Yahoo, ICQ, MSN and GTalk.▪ Built J2ME puzzle games.▪ Assisted companies with deployment of VoIP systems including: VoIP server and billing software configuration, provisioning setup, equipment configuration, and software development around VoIP server interfaces. As part of my internship at bank, I extended and developed new modules for company’s intranet portal which was addressed at managing employee profiles and carrying on document sharing. In turn the portal greatly enhanced the collaboration experience of company’s employees.
