As a dedicated vocational rehabilitation counselor, I have spent my entire professional career advocating for the rights of marginalized communities, including people with disabilities and members of the queer community. With a deep commitment to social justice and equality, I have strived to empower my clients to overcome the obstacles they face, by providing them with the tools, resources, and guidance they need to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals, each with their own unique set of challenges and aspirations. From helping disabled individuals to develop new skills and find meaningful employment, to supporting queer individuals to navigate the complex landscape of work and career, I have always sought to be a compassionate and empathetic ally, while also advocating for systemic change where necessary.Driven by my passion for disability and queer rights, I have also been actively involved in community advocacy efforts, working to advance policies and practices that promote greater inclusion, accessibility, and equity. I have always sought to be a loud and proud voice for those who are too often silenced or marginalized.Looking forward, I am excited to continue my work as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and disability rights advocate. I believe that everyone has the right to dignity, respect, and opportunity, regardless of their abilities or identities, and I will always be committed to fighting for these values in all aspects of my work and my life.Core Values: Curiosity, Autonomy, Alliance, and Transparency.
