• Wireless communication systems and RF engineering experience combined with strong quantitative and analytical skills• Solid theoretical background in wireless communications, channel coding, random processes, detection/estimation theory and information theory• In-depth knowledge of 3GPP RAN architectures for 3G, 4G LTE, LTE-Advanced and 5G NR including the enabling technologies in PHY and MAC layers• Proficiency in system and link level modeling and simulation of wireless systems, subsystems and channels, corresponding proficiency with MATLAB• Expertise on radio channel propagation, channel modeling, AWGN, multipath and block fading channel characterization, link-budget and link-planning analysis• Experience on lab and field testing, test setup and data collection as well as handling and processing large amounts of field and simulation data• Extensive experience statistical analysis with measurement inaccuracies and confidence levels and verification/ validation of performance metrics and KPIs• Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply working knowledge of wireless engineering concepts to new projects • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work with diverse groups across functional boundaries and strong verbal and written communication skills
