My role with the business services department of Durham County Library is to support workforce and business development. I articulate library resources with patrons such as SimplyAnalytics, Gale Courses, and Data Axle Reference Solutions. Other responsibilities include sharing business/workforce development programs, reviewing electronic resources and general reference tools, and developing social media content. I design programs and create partnerships within the community. One successful collaboration I am leading is with Silver Key to host resume review sessions, interview prep, and LinkedIn workshops.

Met sales targets and made sure my team did as well. Tasked with making sure the team met quarterly goals for the district report. Educated and trained newly hired associates on upselling, customer service, and operations. Increased sales by promoting new offerings. Maintained knowledge of the different products we sold to help customers find what they need and deliver high levels of service.
